South African born American author, Levine is the author of five published books; Reading Matters (2022) nominated for the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for Nonfiction 2022, Know Your Parenting Personality (2004), The Enneagram Intelligences (1999) nominated for the 2002 Grawemeyer Education Award, memoir Inside Apartheid (1988),and Leela’s Gift. These books are translated into several languages and reviewed in The New York Times Book Review, The New York Review of Books, and The Yale Review, et al.
Levine’s sixth book, Liv’s Secrets (2023) a historical saga is a deep dive into the Jewish immigrant population in South Africa between 1890 to 1960. Features the Weisz family and centers on Liv Weisz.
