Q. Can you tell us a little about yourself and what inspired you to become a writer?
Ans. I worked in various offices over forty years until I got the writing bug after I retired. I joined a writing class at the library and chose self publishing.
Q. What genre(s) do you primarily write in, and what draws you to that particular genre?
Ans. Science fiction and light fantasy. I’m a Star Trek fan from the beginning but have read SF books for years.
Q. What is your favorite book, and what about it resonates with you the most?
Ans. Not SF but mystery, Georgette Heyer and Agatha Christie books. I love their detailed writing.
Q. Who is your favorite author, and how have they influenced your writing?
Ans. Agatha Christie and Isaac Asimov just the way they approach detail and mystery
Q. How do you balance writing with other aspects of your life, such as work, family, or hobbies?
Ans. I’m retired. I have loads of time to write
Q. How do you show appreciation and love to your followers and readers? Do you actively engage with them on social media or through other means?
Ans. I have one that bought all of my ebooks. I sent her bookmarks
Q. What do you enjoy most about being an author, and what keeps you motivated to continue writing?
Ans. The ability to express myself through my stories
Q. Have you ever faced writer's block, and if so, how do you overcome it?
Ans. No, there is no such animal. I just sit down and write.
Q. Can you share any interesting or funny anecdotes from your writing journey?
Ans. I’ve created a travel mystery series that mirrors the trips I have taken, without the murders of course.
Q. What advice would you give to aspiring authors who are just starting their writing journey?
Ans. Read read read, then develop a thick skin when receiving criticism. Use that criticism to your advantage.
Q. Do you have any upcoming projects or works in progress that you'd like to share with your readers?
Ans. My SF Artifact was just released, next my travel mystery, Mystery Along The Baltic Sea will release at the end of this month, and during nanowrimo, I’m writing the next UF book, Darkest Before the Dawn.
Q. Finally, what are your goals and aspirations as a writer? Where do you see yourself and your writing career in the future?
Ans. Same as now. This is my future
