“Our minds aren't passive observers, simply perceiving reality as it is. Our minds change reality,” - Alia Crum
One can change one’s life, by their thoughts. Can you believe it? This started from curing diseases to altering one’s lifestyle. The way we perceive things matters and that’s how and why staying motivated consistently happens when you think, ‘you can do this. Converting thoughts into actions is yet another phase that involves the active participation of body and mind. We cannot measure the number of thoughts that cross our mind daily but we can reflect and stick to the ones that seem beautiful and positive.
How do authors do that? Here are a few things which you should remember.
First, you should have a deep vision. These visions can be on things that are usual or unusual.
Second, Followed by which you have to stay odd within yourself. Yes, you read it right! The odd thoughts about yourself and the way you see the world.
Third, you should understand the power of words. Words are your tool and look out to use them, particularly in the most efficient way.
Fourth, Then you are accountable for what you feel, observe and listen to every thought that crosses your mind.
Fifth is accepting your mistakes with and an open mind. It takes nothing to learn from one’s mistake. There should be unlearning and relearning along the entire process. Only that will make one flexible and adaptive to any sort of situation.
Finally, trust your imagery. This talk is about the level of creativity you imbibe to create something. The prolonged doubts on your imagination may sometimes destroy and deviate one from the very purpose of becoming an author. All these will remain mortal if you haven’t found what genre you like yet. Each individual is unique and his personality depends on various factors. Understanding what suits oneself the best is as important as holding strength to battle with the pen and thoughts.
